KNOW THIS: All pleasure chasing inevitably ends in pain.
If you seek pleasure in food, you will overeat, sap your energy and get fat.
The easiest way to lose weight is to lose your interest in food.
Treating food as a source of nutrition as opposed to a source of joy will have a dramatic impact on your life.
This doesn’t mean you’re now allowed to experience pleasure while eating food — just don’t seek your pleasure in food. You absolutely should enjoy every bite. Just make sure to not abuse the pleasures of food or it will become an unhealthy addiction.
Seek pleasure in the real gifts of life — loving relationships, nature, solitude, new experiences, etc.
