|In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.
|In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was a god.
|Whose are the fathers, and of whom as concerning the flesh Christ came, who is over all, God blessed for ever. Amen.
|To them the forefathers belong, and from them the Christ descended according to the flesh. God, who is over all, be praised forever. Amen.
|Looking for that blessed hope, and the glorious appearing of the great God and our Saviour Jesus Christ;
|while we wait for the happy hope and glorious manifestation of the great God and of our Savior, Jesus Christ,
|For in him dwelleth all the fulness of the Godhead bodily.
|because it is in him that all the fullness of the divine quality dwells bodily.
|For by him were all things created, that are in heaven, and that are in earth, visible and invisible, whether they be thrones, or dominions, or principalities, or powers: all things were created by him, and for him:
|because by means of him all other things were created in the heavens and on the earth, the things visible and the things invisible, whether they are thrones or lordships or governments or authorities. All other things have been created through him and for him.
|And he is before all things, and by him all things consist.
