“It is God who arms me with strength and keeps my way secure. He makes my feet like the feet of a deer; he causes me to stand on the heights.”
Psalms 18:32-33 NIV
“Let your eyes look straight ahead; fix your gaze directly before you.”
Proverbs 4:25 NIV
“Humans and other animals express power through open, expansive postures, and they express powerlessness through closed, contractive postures… In short, posing in displays of power caused advantaged and adaptive psychological, physiological, and behavioral changes, and these findings suggest that embodiment extends beyond mere thinking and feeling, to physiology and subsequent behavioral choices.”

Good posture symbolizes you are a man or woman who is used to being on top

👇🏼👇🏼 I love this approach 👇🏼👇🏼
Hang by your teeth
Visualize a circus iron-jaw bit hanging from the frame of every door you walk through. Take a bite and, with it firmly between your teeth, let it swoop you to the peak of the big top. When you Hang by Your Teeth, every muscle is stretched into perfect posture position. You are now ready to float into the room to captivate the crowd or close the sale (or maybe just settle for looking like the most important Somebody in the room). – Leil Lowndes, How to Talk to Anyone
Why?
EVERYONE looks better with good posture and there are long term benefits as you age. The way you carry yourself shows others how you feel about yourself.
Tip: Practice the habit of smooth and graceful movements every time you wash and dry your hands. Do it beautifully.
Moving with grace is a matter of being present with a focus on “Doing One Thing At a Time” — think of how a skilled bartender or chef works…. Why not do everything like this?
Posture Mindset: Eyes facing forward. String pulling you straight up from the back of your head.
My Secret to Good Posture
Support your posture by flexing your abs and activating your core instead of focusing on your back muscles. Slouching is difficult when the abs are activated.
Once I starting focusing on the activation of my core instead of my back, maintaining good posture while sitting and standing became MUCH EASIER.
Exercises
Set 1 minute of focused "great posture" per hour and gradually increase
Practice having good posture in your most common sitting situations (car, couch, work chair, eating, looking at phone, etc.)
