See now that I—I am he,
And there are no gods apart from me.
I put to death, and I make alive.
I wound, and I will heal,
And no one can rescue from my hand.
Jehovah puts to death and makes alive, right?
Revelation 1:17-18 NWT
When I saw him, I fell as dead at his feet.
And he laid his right hand on me and said: “Do not be afraid. I am the First and the Last, and the living one, and I became dead, but look! I am living forever and ever, and I have the keys of death and of the Grave.
But in this verse it says Jesus has the keys of death and of the grave.
John 5:21 NWT
For just as the Father raises the dead up and makes them alive, so the Son also makes alive whomever he wants to.
1 Samuel 2:6 NWT
Jehovah kills, and he preserves life;
He brings down to the Grave, and he raises up.
How can Jesus say he has the keys of death and of the grave if only Jehovah can put to death and make alive?
