Who came to Jeremiah?

The word of Jehovah came to me, saying:
“Before I formed you in the womb I knew you, And before you were born I sanctified you.
I made you a prophet to the nations.”
But I said: “Alas, O Sovereign Lord Jehovah! I do not know how to speak, for I am just a boy.”
Jehovah then said to me:
“Do not say, ‘I am just a boy.’
For you must go to all those to whom I send you,
And you should say everything that I command you.
Do not be afraid because of their appearance,
For ‘I am with you to save you,’ declares Jehovah.”
Then Jehovah stretched out his hand and touched my mouth. And Jehovah said to me: “I have put my words in your mouth.
See, I have commissioned you this day to be over the nations and over the kingdoms, to uproot and to pull down, to destroy and to tear down, to build and to plant.”
The word of Jehovah again came to me, saying: “What do you see, Jeremiah?” So I said: “I see the branch of an almond tree.”
